1993 Porsche 911 RS America (964)
If you're looking at this 911 and thinking, "What's a RS America?", here's today's Porsche lesson. Porsche built this car with the intentions of honoring and recreating the spirit of the 1973 Carrera RS. The RS America (or RSA) was made for the true enthusiast. If you autocross, this is for you. If you do track days, this is for you. If you love driving a 911, you guessed it, this is for you. A lightweight no frills, all buisness demeanor makes the RSA so much fun. Luxury options were limited to only 4 choices: A/C, cassette radio, limited slip, and a sunroof (stock Carrera had 48 choices). This one has all but the sunroof. Only 701 models were ever built. The flawless interior on this RSA is basic and fabric covers the body hugging sport seats. The door panels have no armrests, pockets, or complex opening mechanism. Only a loop strap to open the door, and a handle to pull it closed. The exterior is stunning and the black paint is in fantastic shape. These RSAs were truly built for the 911 fan who enjoys driving their car, more than anything else.
